Wir laden Euch herzlich zur Finissage der Ausstellung « PAPEL, PAPEL » am Freitag, den 23. Februar um 18.30 Uhr ein.

An diesem Abend wird Ines Doleschal, in Berlin lebende Künstlerin, über zeitgenössische Zeichnung sprechen und die Künstler*innen der Ausstellung vorstellen.

Die Ausstellung vereint 9 Künstler - Ronald Cornelissen, Paul van der Eerden, Gilgian Gelzer, Michel Gouéry, Alexandre Leger, Odile Maarek, Diana Quinby, Elmar Trenkwalder und Ina van Zyl – die alle die Zeichnung ins Zentrum ihres künstlerischen Wirkens gestellt haben.

Ines Doleschal wird bestätigen, dass die Zeichnung, die lange als vorbereitende Skizze abgetan wurde, heute einen bedeutsamen Platz in der Kunst einnimmt. In der Tat werden der Zeichnung exklusiv Ausstellungen, Salons, ja, ganze Messen gewidmet.

Die Zeichnung basiert auf einfachsten Mitteln: Tinte, Kohle, Bleistift, Papier… und eine Welt öffnet sich, ein künstlerischer Gedanke nimmt Form an, neue Projekte entstehen...

Ines Doleschal, a Berlin-based artist, will give a talk (in german) about contemporary drawing and introduce the artists of the exhibition.

The show displays the works of nine artists - Ronald Cornelissen, Paul van der Eerden, Gilgian Gelzer, Michel Gouéry, Alexandre Leger, Odile Maarek, Diana Quinby, Elmar Trenkwalder and Ina van Zyl - who have all placed drawing at the center of their artistic practice.

Ines Doleschal will confirm that the drawing, which was long dismissed as a preparatory sketch, today occupies a significant place in the art. In fact, nowadays one can see exhibitions, art fairs exclusively dedicated to drawing.

The drawing is based on the simplest means: ink, coal, pencil, paper and a world opens up, an artistic thought takes shape, new projects emerge...
